This is the view of Toronto’s downtown core from Canary Park Condos
January 13, 2014
Hear the name Canary District and you’ll likely be hit with thoughts of the 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games — but aside from hosting the world’s third largest international multi-sports event, the master-planned residential community will offer some of the most picturesque views of Toronto.
The image included above is the view from the 11th floor of Canary Park Condos. We can’t stop staring.
Thanks to the work of both Waterfront Toronto and Dundee Kilmer Developments Limited, Canary District will soon become the largest residential community in the city. Canary Park, a new phase of the master-planned community, is a modern 437-unit condominium at the corner of Front Street East and Cherry Street. It will feature two mid-rise towers that are connected by a podium of townhomes.
Residents will also appreciate the structure’s contemporary and eclectic design, which will be dressed in translucent glass, charcoal grey limestone and steel. The team of renowned architecture firms, including architectsAlliance and KPMG, have pushed the aesthetic boundaries further with a modern facade that will boast horizontal and vertical banding. The ground floor will also feature soaring floor-to-ceiling glass walls that overlook the charming pedestrian promenades.
