TORONTO, March 7, 2012 – Paese Ristorante (www.paeseristorante.com) is offering up-and-coming bartenders an opportunity to show their skills and win “a wild night on the town.”
From its 333 King St. W. location, Paese is running a cocktail contest, ‘Battaglia Cocktailia’, with the first competition beginning, March 13/12 at 8 p.m.
For the first four weeks, up to five bartenders will compete, with the winner of each event moving to the Finale. The five competitions are:
 
March 13 – Jameson Irish Smackdown
March 20 – ABSOLUT ELYX Textures
March 27 – AVION Takes Flight
April 3 – Havana Club Anejo Machismo
April 19 – Wiser’s Legacy FINALE!
 
Said Paese’s Tony Loschiavo, “Each night, the competitive bartenders will receive a certain spirit from the CORBY’s portfolio, to create whatever they like, using that particular spirit.” Judges will be announced prior to the first event.
Added Loschiavo, “One of the four finalists will win ‘Dinner For Four At Paese’ and first-rate seats to see The Black Keys.”
