TORONTO – November 8, 2012…Dan Piggott, P. Eng. has been appointed Vice President Development for Skyline Destination Communities in Toronto.
Reporting to Skyline International Development Inc. CEO Michael Sneyd, Mr. Piggott has overall responsibility for the company’s development projects at Horseshoe Resort, Deerhurst Resort and Port McNicoll and will oversee Skyline’s development team through design, regulatory approvals, budgeting and cost control, construction, furnishing, purchaser coordination and post-closing warranty work.
Mr. Piggott joined Skyline after 12 years with Intrawest ULC where he most recently was Vice-President, Development having responsibility for planning, development and construction of the residential, condo hotel and commercial projects at the Blue Mountain Village adjacent to Blue Mountain Resort in The Town of the Blue Mountains (near Collingwood), ON.
For 12 years, prior to Intrawest, he was Vice President Construction and Project Management for a residential and commercial development company in Vancouver, BC. He successfully developed many residential and mixed use condominium and townhome projects, single family lot sub-divisions and a 150-bed intermediate care facility. Earlier in his career, he worked as a consulting engineer and project manager in BC.
Mr. Piggott is a registered Professional Engineer and has a B. Eng. degree with distinction, from the Technical University of Nova Scotia specializing in civil/structural engineering.
